We’re growing! And looking to welcome a detail-orientated and enthusiastic individual to join our team for the position of Office Clerk located in Halifax, Nova Scotia! This full-time temporary position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people!

What you'll be doing:

- Ensure prompt follow up with tenants.
- Providing exceptional customer service to our current and future tenants by responding to inquiries, and showing units.
- Answer all rental requests and complete the agreements, in addition, identify and record all calls, emails and visits of prospective tenants.
- Perform reference checks for all applicants.
- Monitor the rent roll and aged receivables. Communicate variances to the Property Management Administrator.






- Contributing to operational excellence through tasks being completed within Skyline standards, and in line with all applicable provincial legislation including Occupational Health and Safety Act, Residential Tenancies Act, and the Human Rights Act.

What we look for:

- Excellent communication skills in French/English required.
- Previous experience renting apartments and assisting tenants required
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively.
- Ability to multi-task and remain detail oriented.
- Ability to adhere to an on call schedule involving work after business hours and work on weekends.
- High School Diploma or Five (5) years work related experience.
- PC skills are an asset (Word, Excel, e-mail/web).
- Previous experience in sales and/or customer service is considered an asset.






- Knowledge of applicable legislation respecting residential tenancies in New Brunswick and the rights and obligations of Landlords and Tenants an asset.
