7-Eleven is Immediately Hiring: Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician II
This position is responsible for the repair of a wide variety of specialized equipment in an assigned group of 7-Eleven (family of brands) stores within a geographic area.
Service calls are initiated from the store via 7Help work orders to appropriate technician. Position reports to the Area Facilities Manager.
Please note: The qualified candidate works after hours calls during regular working days and works a rotational schedule of stores covering off peers on weekends and stat holidays

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Responds to work orders for a wide variety of in-store equipment which include, but may not be limited to Minor repairs of HVAC, minor repairs to refrigeration, hot beverage equipment (ex. coffee, cappuccino) , cold beverage equipment (ex. tea, fountain, FBD/Taylor, FCB, creamer machine), fountain/backroom ice makers, Hot food equipment (ex. fryers, griddles tortilla presses, ovens, roller grills, warmers), fuel dispensers (ex. printers, displays card readers, hanging hardware) etc.
- Responds to work orders related to plumbing, electrical,
and general maintenance issues, including working outside on building/roof.
- Exemplifies the 7-Eleven Values and Leadership Principles
- Responsible for ordering and management of parts inventory on truck
- Responsible for replacing ‘plug and play’ equipment as needed
- Schedules and prioritizes duties and work assignments on a daily basis
- Responsible for ordering and management of parts inventory for truck
- Completes required reports and paperwork daily to account for the time and use of parts and materials
- Observes and inspects equipment to determine if servicing or further action is required
- Reads, interprets, and follows procedures described in service manuals per manufacturer guidelines
- Calibrates pumps,
dispensers and other equipment in accordance with legal standards
- Recommends when an outside contractor is required to handle a maintenance issue
- Provides training to less experienced technicians as needed
- Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by management
- Complies with and follows all safety regulations and protocols
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: High School/GED
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 2+ years
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Show Leadership
- Peer to Peer Tech support
- Effective communication
- Requires little to no direct supervision
- Provides advice and guidance to less experienced personnel as needed
- Projects/Stretch assignments
- Facility location ownership
- Ability to lead the team (meetings, projects…)
- Fills in for AFM during vacations, absences
