Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages,
and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently using the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide change as needed while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special requests from guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including stocking supplies and preparing garnishes.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both guests and team members.
