Full job description
Job Overview
We are currently looking for a level 2 Network Analyst for a backfill contract at SSC.
The contract runs until March 2025 up front.
The rate is $500/day incorporated and the clearance required is Secret.
Work would be hybrid remote with the consultant to be on-site at 350 King Edward Ave, Ottawa 1-3 times per week.
Duties
1. Monitor, manage, support, configure and implement, network WAN infrastructure;
2. Configure and implement solutions in a team environment;
3.
Documenting and updating standard enterprise network solutions including topology, network diagrams, technical specifications, equipment configurations, cabling and resource requirements, test plans, and implementation plans;
4. Review and propose design modifications to existing GC backbone network infrastructures to enhance performance or identify performance challenges while respecting functional requirements;
5. 2nd level network support and troubleshooting for various production networks;
6. Monitor and action various service management systems for business requests and requests for change;
7. Maintain system security enhancements;
8. Develop and/or participate in change impact analysis and work within the respective change management processes;
9. Provide knowledge transfer to other resources;
10. Attending meetings, creating and maintaining documentation, meeting with clients and other related tasks assigned by the contract authority;
