Description
Who we need
The Actuarial Senior Analyst will be accountable to help assess new business opportunities and monitor/review performance of existing blocks. We have an ever-growing number of partners that we work closely with to deliver our products. You will liaise with external and internal stakeholders to ensure that pricing strategies align with business objectives.
What you will do
Analyze data to create or refine GGY AXIS pricing models for a variety of Life and Health insurance products;
Price new products in line with internal guidelines;
Work with internal and external partners to support product development from ideation to launch;
Perform ongoing management of existing products, including inforce pricing reviews;
Create tools such as dashboards to monitor performance;
Support financial underwriting for new and existing partnerships;
Work with Underwriting to ensure that pricing strategy aligns with the risk profile;
Create and maintain accurate process documentation.
What you will bring
The education. University degree in a quantitative field. Close to an ASA/ACIA.
The experience. 2+ years of actuarial experience.
The knowledge. GGY AXIS required. Health & Dental insurance is also required. And knowledge of IFRS 17 is considered as an asset.
The skills. Strong communication and organizational skills.
The drive. Self-starter, problem solver, takes initiative. Adaptable to change and creates processes with minimal guidance.
