Salary: $21.08- $23.96 per hour based on work experience

Hours: 8 to 16 hours per week

About the role:







Under the general direction of the Director of Adult Justice Services and the immediate supervision of the Residential Coordinator the Reintegration Worker will perform various tasks related to site security/ safety, support / development, assistance of Residents, supervising and monitoring the residents, some CRF maintenance.

As the successful candidate, you have:

- Education: Attendance in a working towards completion a post-secondary education or Post – secondary degree or Diploma in the Criminal Justice & Social Sciences programs or equivalent
- Training: Willingness to be trained in required skill areas
- Must possess a “Reliability” Security Clearance (before joining)
- Language: English (Bilingual an asset)
- Training Preferred:






- Ability to obtain security clearance and vulnerability check
- ASIST Training
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention/ MI
- First Aid & CPR
- Mental Health First Aid
- U.T Testing
- Additional Assets:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate flexibility; willing to work weekends, holidays; IE: Christmas, New Year etc.
- Ability to use sound judgement
- Ability to de-escalate conflict if required
- Role model appropriate living skills and healthy lifestyle
- Teamwork; willing to available to take extra shifts when required

You’ll also be prepared to…

Maintenance/ Cleaning Responsibilities

- Ensure keeping office, staff washroom, securing (packing, labeling, and storing) residents' belongings upon unplanned departures; ensure residents are adhering to chore list,





other tasks that may be identified by the Housing Coordinator
- Report any deficiencies to the Housing Coordinator

Building/ Activity Monitoring

- Conduct thorough shift change, maintain keys and personal security pendant (Wear)
- Review Duty log and client notes, take note of important daily activities in Log book
- Manage and Maintain Duty log (Book) and CRF visitors log
- Maintain resident sign in/out destination book
- Complete Security checks and room checks (visual of person)
- Monitor the property (surveillance of all common areas of the CRF including Exterior views)
- Conduct RCC

Program Representation/ Community Relations

- The Reintegration Worker must have a firm grasp of the established procedural guidelines to determine an appropriate response to community members presenting concerns






- CSC mandate; understanding of the functions/roles of parole and probation

Program Level Responsibilities

- Monitors and promotes practices that support people's health and safety
- Supporting daily living and life skills
- Provide emergency crisis intervention and support
- Referrals and linkages to appropriate community resources
- Carries out specific administrative duties as required
- Clearly document all client activity and behaviors
- Motivate and role model social leisure and healthy living skills
- Support any further relevant duties that may be developed or assigned by the Residential Coordinator
- Support and assist CRF Case Worker’s
