The Opportunity
Our facility in Rosenort is currently seeking Driver - 1A -Long Haul to join the team.
Responsibilities
• Operate vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
• Manage appropriate cargo documentation and provide necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
• Coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
Qualifications
• Valid Class 1/AZ License is required.
• Clean 5 years Commercial driving abstract.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable with smartphone technology.
• Reliable,
flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors.
• Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations.
• Flat bed experience an asset.
• Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada.
• Valid Passport with ability to travel to US for long haul trips.
