Annual Giving and Digital Fundraiser

We are currently seeking an Annual Giving and Digital Fundraiser to oversee annual giving, digital fundraising, and donor relations. We welcome candidates with a marketing background who are excited to dive into the world of fundraising and learn the necessary skills.
What You’ll Do:
As the Annual Giving and Digital Fundraiser, you will:
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, ensuring individuals, families, and professionals have access to up-to-date resources.

Key Responsibilities:
- Annual Giving Campaigns: Plan, execute, and manage campaigns to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors. Rebuild the monthly giving program, and promote workplace giving, corporate matches, and tribute giving programs.
- Digital Fundraising: Develop and implement digital strategies for email campaigns, online giving platforms, crowdfunding, and public-facing fundraising efforts.
- Donor Relations: Cultivate relationships with donors through personalized communication and stewardship strategies.
- Data Management: Maintain donor records and utilize Raiser’s Edge to track donations, analyze giving patterns, and segment donors.
- Digital Marketing: Lead email, social media,
and SEO campaigns to drive awareness and donations. Ensure consistent messaging across platforms and optimize the website for storytelling.
- Campaign Analysis: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to inform data-driven decisions and improve fundraising outcomes.
- Events & Print Assets: Assist with fundraising events, manage logistics, and design print and marketing collateral.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with ethical standards and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on key metrics for management and board presentations.
- Camp Horizon Tours: Provide tours as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Linked Platform Support:
- Develop and implement the organization’s digital platform to provide a human-centered solution for families.
- Monitor platform outcomes, report data, and collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve and expand services.
- Work with third-party platforms to support provincial growth and optimize services for families across Alberta.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in fundraising, annual giving, or digital campaign management, ideally within the non-profit sector.
- We also welcome candidates with a marketing background who are eager to learn the fundraising side of the role.
- Proven success in planning and executing fundraising campaigns and digital marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge, donor management systems, and digital marketing tools.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with experience preparing fund agreements, proposals, and presentations.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns.
- Experience managing multiple projects with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, social media, and website optimization.
- Team player who can adapt to flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends.
- AFP membership and/or Raiser’s Edge experience is a strong asset.
Other Requirements:
- 35 hours per week, reporting to the Marketing and Community Engagement Lead.
- A mix of remote and in-office (or at camp property) work.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Criminal records check and intervention record check are required.
