Job Title: Senior Medical Manager, Haematology, Nephrology and Transplant
Location: Mississauga, ON

Introduction to role:
Join our brave originators at Alexion, a division of AstraZeneca, as a Senior Medical Manager in the Haematology,
Nephrology and Transplant (HNT) department. This role is pivotal in supporting the HNT tactical execution for the Therapeutic Areas, including marketed and late-stage products for the treatment of PNH, aHUS and other conditions with assets in development.
Accountabilities:
As a Senior Medical Manager, you will work closely with the Medical Director’s team and members of the cross-functional HNT Teams to execute the annual Global Medical Strategic and Tactical Plan. Your responsibilities will include managing the development of content and resources for scientific exchange, medical education programs, training, and congress activities aligned to Global Medical strategy. You will also assist with evidence generation activities such as company-sponsored, investigator-initiated, and scientific collaborations. Your role will involve partnering with internal cross-functional stakeholders - clinical development, commercial, marketing, HEOR, and patient advocacy.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- MD, Phd, PharmD or an advanced scientific degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong presentation skills
- Adaptability and agility in a dynamic environment with proven ability to work on teams and independently.
- The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.
