The incumbent supports and/or installs software relating to information management applications, participates in test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software, and carries out research on a variety of business application system concepts,





practices and procedures.KEY AND PERIODIC ACTIVITIESThe duties and responsibilities listed below are representative but not all-inclusive:PrimaryPerform technical analysis and develop automation and integration applications in support of business requirements, strategies, and Information Management (IM)Develop technical requirements and translate business needs and functional documents into technical solutionsAnalyze business processes, code and develop enhancements to add functionality and convert existing programs using information management applicationsGather functional and technical requirements for enterprise content management applications and carry out research on solutions for software problemsImplement and customize SharePoint-based solutions for Collaboration portals, Enterprise Content Management, Workflows and Enterprise SearchDevelop test cases in collaboration with business users to minimize production issuesInvestigate and resolve critical system issues and support Service Desk colleagues in responding to information management application-related queriesCreate technical designs, specifications, change requests, training documentation and other materialDevelop and maintain effective relationships within DCC, and with industry, the Client-Partners and/or stakeholdersEnsure quality standards are met, in line with corporate expectationsManage riskOtherSupport the administration of Laserfiche, including user access, repository structures and records management rulesResearch emerging technologies, provide technical and functional feedback on design considerations in developing SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 Online solutionsProvide direction and assistance to the Business Analyst and Head Office departments to ensure proper integration of systems softwareMentor and support teammates in responding to technical development questions and problemsOther duties as assignedSKILLSGeneral and Specific KnowledgeBest practices, methods, trends and legislation in information technology and information managementExpert knowledge and experience in SharePoint, PowerAutomate and PowerAppsKnowledge and experience in developing applications using XML, .NET, SQL and/or C#Corporate business applications i.e. Document and Records ManagementProject and risk management principlesStrong research and analytical skillsFormal Education and/or Certification(s) and ExperienceMinimum: college diploma in computer science with eight years’ relevant experience, or the equivalentPreferred:

As a condition of employment with DCC, a minimum reliability security status clearance is required and some roles may require secret security status clearance.DCC is responsible for the Personnel Security Clearance process. Typically to be eligible for a "Reliability" clearance, you must have five years of verifiable background information and to be eligible for a "Secret" clearance, you must have 10 years of verifiable background information. The process usually involves reference inquiries, verification of qualifications, criminal records checks, and credit checks (as required) and may require fingerprints. For more information about obtaining a security clearance, please review the Standard on Security Screening.The appropriate security clearance is a condition of employment and it is the candidate’s or employee’s responsibility to ensure, they are able to obtain and maintain their required security level clearance to begin or continue their employment with DCC. Failure to obtain or maintain, the appropriate level of security clearance means either the candidate or employee will not receive a job offer, the conditional offer will be rendered null and void or their employment will be terminated with cause.
