Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Server/Bartender to join our team a Celtic Irish Pub. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, have a strong knowledge of beverages and food, and be able to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet and serve guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and deliver them promptly.
• Provide recommendations on food and beverage choices when requested.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as per the pub’s standard recipes.
• Process payments, handle cash,
and operate POS systems efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol serving regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to provide seamless service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and stocking as needed.
Qualifications:
•Minimum 2 years of experience as a Server/Bartender in a fast-paced environment.
•Smart Serve certification required.
•Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure during busy periods.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
• Knowledge of a variety of beverages, including craft beers, wines, and cocktails.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
