GFL Environmental is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join the team in Kitchener , ON .
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the branch with regards to Company communications, report preparation, correspondence, and the maintenance and organization of files.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities :
On boarding new driver / hires
Review application and documentation
Issue online training
Customer service
Maintaining spread sheets
Reporting monthly updates
Reporting weekly updates
Maintaining drivers' files
Expiration of license / medicals for driver
Expiration Passports and other documents for drivers
Licensing of trucks
Collection of paperwork
Schedule inspection of truck with shop
Scheule of license plate issuing
Assist in other office functions where needed.
Education, Training, Experience and Licensing / Certification Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2-year degree in business related field and 3 years’ experience in an administrative capacity or equivalent combination.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to type 50 WPM.
- Maintain appointment as Notary Public.
