Data Entry
- 6-month contract with potential for extension
- Pay Rate : $18-$22
- On-site in Toronto

Raise is hiring for several major banking clients in downtown Toronto right now. They have ongoing needs for early-career Data Entry personnel with 2+ years of experience and a degree in accounting, business, finance or similar.

Responsibilities
- Read source documents such as cancelled checks, sales reports,
or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes / disks for entry, using keyboards / scanners
- Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before entering
- Verify, enter, retrieve, and edit data
- Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors
- Compare data with source documents and / or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
- Maintain logs of activities and completed work
- Prepare mailouts, batching and scanning of document
- Cross train in other manual processes (Finalize / Dice)
Qualifications
- College diploma in accounting, business, or finance
- 2+ years of related experience
- Expert user of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word
- Ability to enter data 7000+ keystrokes per hour
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Ability to pass a speed and accuracy data entry test
