Director, Supply

Reporting to the Vice-President, Supply Chain, the Procurement Director's main responsibilities will be to establish and implement a procurement strategy in the context of the implementation of an MRP (SAP), the management and development of the team within a company in constant evolution and in search of ways to improve.

Main responsibilities :

1. Lead and supervise a team of planners, buyers and coordinators, ensuring their performance, development and commitment.
2. Work closely with the Vice President of Supply Chain to define medium and long-term procurement strategies and objectives.
3. Actively participate in the implementation of SAP's Materials Resource Planning (MRP) module,





ensuring the alignment of processes with best practices.
4. Optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase supply chain reliability.
5. Manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure the quality of products/services received.
6. Implement performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track the effectiveness of procurement and planning operations.
7. Collaborate with internal departments, including production, logistics and finance, to ensure material availability and optimal inventory management.
8. Monitor market trends to anticipate procurement risks and opportunities.

Required qualifications :

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in procurement, procurement management, or supply chain management.
2. Demonstrated team management experience, with proven leadership and talent development skills.
3. In-depth knowledge of material resource planning (MRP) systems, ideally with experience in SAP.
4. Exceptional negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
5.





Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong results-oriented approach.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills :

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of current trends in procurement and logistics.
3. Proficient in SAP tools and other supply chain management software.
