Job Summary

We need of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team.





The Accounts Payable Specialist will work in a fast paced/high volume environment and will be responsible for processing accounts payable invoices and check requests, ensuring that checks are dispersed per vendor and company terms. The ideal candidate would have 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role performing high volume accounts payable, 3 way matching, coding, preparing journal entries, reconciliations and vendor management.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Accounts Payable Specialist, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

1. Reviews and enters vendor invoices into JDE system daily
2. Interacts and resolves problems with vendors
3. Reconciles Vendor Statements
4. Files all processed AP payments weekly
5. Coaches & assists internal customers on AP issues
6. Performs special projects as requested by Management

1.





2+ years’ experience & general knowledge of Accounts Payable Function
2. Strong working knowledge of the general ledger & its relationship to financial statements ability to reconcile vendor statements
3. Skilled in communicating to both internal & external customers
4. Skilled in use of Microsoft Excel: with ability to create spreadsheets, formulas, & use pivot tables & V-lookups
5. Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, and possesses strong organizational skills
