What You'll Be Doing
As a QA Specialist, you will support QA and build activities for CIBC Digital on the Testing and Publishing Dailies team in Toronto. You will be responsible for a defined portfolio of sites and platforms,





providing QA sign-off for the release of marketing initiatives and base essential changes to the online and mobile platforms. You will also be part of a term-long team project to present innovative solutions to CIBC digital challenges.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

- You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However,





you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for a role.

How You'll Succeed
- Agile QA - Contribute to team goals by attending daily stand-ups and working collaboratively to forecast gaps or issues with requirements or timelines, designing tests and completing test cycles, and raising and resolving variances with the team,





following guidelines for completeness and accuracy.
- Innovate for success - Work in an agile, project-based team with other co-operative students to identify opportunities for improvement at CIBC, problem solve under the mentorship of Digital managers, and present your recommendations to senior leaders.
- Commitment to excellence - Passionate about finding and resolving variances and ensuring error-free releases. Isolate issues and outages to business applications or processes, conduct root cause analysis and provide regular reports to the Publishing Manager. Continuously improve processes, share learnings with the Agile and Publishing teams, and update documentation in the Publishing and Agile teams' knowledge repositories.
