Competitive Compensation & Benefits: base 150 - 200K+, bonus target 25-35%

The Director of Operations will lead our specialty manufacturing client's Operations Team on 2 sites (AB & US) while working in concert with Engineering, leveraging and integrating manufacturing information systems (MRP, PDM, production planning).

Minimum Requirements:

- 10+ years progressive specialty industrial manufacturing production leadership skills & experience including managing trades ideally with some Assembly, Machining and/or engineered surface Coatings
- Some solid centrifugal pumps manufacturing, tooling and related products is ideal






- Knowledge & experience with Parametric Process Control methods (i.e., HVOF, welding, cladding & other process where final testing cannot assure product quality)
- Manufacturing to inventory targets / establishing targets in a dynamic changing markets
- Systems thinking & application vs just tactical operations
- PEng / SPE (or eligible) – Mech or Chem Eng degree preferred (other Eng disciplines considered with the relevant other experience)
- ISO 9001 certification experience would be an asset (ISO 14000 for later too)
- Some industrial equipment engineering design, / product development would be an asset
- Some Nice to Haves though not essential: some purchasing management, some foundry operations management, some casting procurement, some production support / manufacturing engineering
