Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a .NET Senior Software Developer on a contract basis with expertise in C#, SQL, Microservices, API development, and various Azure services. In this role, you will develop scalable software solutions, integrating with multiple Azure cloud services to support our infrastructure.
Key duties
1. Develop & Implement: Create software solutions using C# and .NET for high-quality code.
2. API Development & Integration: Design and integrate RESTful APIs for microservices architecture.
3. Database Management: Optimize SQL Server databases for reliability and performance.
4. Azure Cloud Services: Utilize Azure Functions, Data Factory, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Key Vault for scalable solutions.
5.
DevOps & CI/CD: Manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps for efficient integration and deployment.
6. Cloud Security & Monitoring: Implement security practices and use Azure monitoring tools for performance and security.
7. Documentation: Document APIs, services, and system architecture for clarity.
8. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
2. API Development: Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs within microservices architecture.
3. Azure Expertise: Proficient with Azure Functions, Data Factory, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Storage.
4. CI/CD:
Skilled in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
5. Cloud Security: Strong understanding of Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
6. Project Delivery: Proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
7. Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
1. Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
2. Security Best Practices: Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and encryption.
3. Data Integration: Experience with SSIS for data integration and transformation.
4. Database Optimization: Expertise in writing and optimizing stored procedures.
