ER Translations is a boutique language service provider that was founded in 2013 in Montreal, Canada, specializing in business, marketing, communications, retail, fashion, medical, health and wellness translations.
Role Description:
This is a part-time remote bilingual English/French Translation Project Manager position with a set weekly schedule (30 hours/week - Monday to Friday, 10am-4:30pm EST).
As a Translation Project Manager at ER Translations, you will be responsible for overseeing translation projects, managing communication with clients and translators, coordinating projects using a cloud-based project management tool, and providing exceptional customer service on a day-to-day basis.
Requirements:
· Professional writing skills in both English and French
· Strong computer skills and knowledge of CAT tools
· Proficient in Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook
· Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
· Experience in the translation and localization industry
· Creative, organized, polite and professional
· Able to multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
· Able to work independently with minimal supervision, while adhering to a strict work schedule (Monday to Friday, 10am-4:30pm EST)
Responsibilities:
· Answer client emails in English and French
· Manage translation projects using a cloud-based project management tool (XTM)
· Coordinate translation project timelines with clients and linguists
· Assign projects to translators and revisers, ensuring punctual delivery of all files
· Prepare files pre- and post-translation, reformatting, resizing and cleaning up, as needed
· Track all projects in the company database
Assets:
· Spanish language skills
· Experience with Adobe InDesign/Illustrator and Canva
· Experience with video subtitling and SRT creation
