Royal Oak Animal Hospital has an opportunity for a part-time Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT for a one year contract to join our team!
We are looking for a dedicated person with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong desire to provide exceptional client experience. We have a strong team mentality, love to have fun at work and strive to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

- New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment,
catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy - welcome to apply! We love growing new graduates!
- Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery.
- Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records.
- Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude, including the ability to ask clarifying questions to facilitate effective solution-finding
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents.
- Passion to learn more within the role.
- A love for all companion animals!!
Schedule: Must be able to work Mondays and every second Saturday. Occasional shifts on other days available.
