Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources,
the Human Resources Coordinator (HRIS Data Entry) is responsible for entering employee information into Teck’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
Enter employee data in HRIS systems (i.e., new hires, deductions, salary and position changes, leave processing, contributions, and terminations)
Digitally file employee documents on Share
Point using correct naming conventions
Assists with system testing and HR audits as required
Involvement in the application of Human Resources policies and procedures, salary and benefits administration, organizational communications, performance management and other project work as assigned
Draft letters and communications
Research and report writing as needed
Assist with HR projects
Participate in team meetings and training
Work closely with the team of HR Coordinators to engage in regular discussions and brainstorming sessions
Contribute to team projects and support colleagues in their tasks
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related area of focus
Deep attention to detail and accuracy, as well as strong analytical skills
Proactive and customer service focused
Experience with SAP Success
Factors would be considered an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power
Point
Adaptable and flexible, as well as open to learning and trying new things
Motivated self-starter, able to work under minimal direction and be able to coordinate several tasks simultaneously
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Able to maintain confidentiality and a high level of integrity
Spanish language proficiency would be considered an asset

Salary Range: $65,000 - $81,000
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
