Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile QA Automation Engineer with 7 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Appium tool knowledge, Cucumber, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Java, Jira, Selenium and PL/SQL. The role involves leading quality assurance efforts to ensure the highest software development and delivery standards.
What you bring to the role:
- 7+ or more years of hands-on experience with Automation testing Mobile applications.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Appium mobile testing for IOS platform.
- Must have hands-on experience working with Xcode, XCUITest Framework and Swift to drive automation for iOS applications.
- The last 4-6 years should have been in Web and Mobile testing using Selenium Web Driver and Appium.
- Should have experience in mobile testing and setting up automation frameworks for this.
- Knowledge of mobile browser automation.
- Knowledge of mobile testing using mobile devices.
- Should have good knowledge of continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
- Proven experience in functional, regression and cross-browser testing.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, JTMF.
What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Appium for mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
- Design, develop,
and maintain iOS automation frameworks using XCUITest and Swift.
- Develop and execute test scripts to automate the functional and regression testing of iOS applications.
- Set up and run the tests for multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari).
- Document test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports.
- Manage and track defects using Jira ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
