Our valued Public Sector client is in need of a Senior Business Analyst to conduct requirements gathering and reporting in order to ensure effective enterprise level modernization initiatives.

Background:

Our valued public sector client is currently working on the planning stages for some up their upcoming modernization initiatives which can include upgrades to their IM/IT Strategy, Infrastructure and cloud adoption initiatives. In order to be effective, the client first needs to understand the business needs and user requirements of internal and external stakeholders throughout the organization. To accomplish this they would like to bring on two (2) Business Analysts who can conduct requirements gathering,





report and strategic support to ensure that the solution being delivered aligns to the needs of their clients and staff.

Tasks May include:

- Organizing and leading JAD sessions, definition sessions and workshops
- Documenting business requirements in the form of business documents, use cases and/or user stories
- Documenting current state business processes
- Migrating existing on-premise workloads, performing business process review on ITIL processing including process documentation, implementation and enhancements
- Manage business requirements and/or coordinating system testing activities using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Working within an agile environment to capture client requirements
- Development of business use cases and business scenarios intended to demonstrate the future ‘to-be’ state of business processes
- Development of high level functional and technical requirements and specifications using business process maps, Use Cases, Joint Application Development (JAD)





sessions and documented outcome, business workflow and organizational models, data definitions and logical data models and/or solution prototypes
