Until Filled Job Qualifications: The Fort McMurray Roman Catholic Separate School Division is seeking an innovative High School Wood Shop (carpentry) Instructor for the 2024-25 school year at Father Mercredi High School until December 2024.

Requirements | Responsibilities:
- Technical Diploma or journeyman certificate in area related to the assignment; Red Seal Carpenter is preferred,
- Strong relationship building skills,
- Flexible and adaptable,
- Organized and able to meet deadlines in accordance with the school schedule,
- Commitment to education and excited to work with students each day,
- Strong computer literacy and fluent with emails, internet, Microsoft and Google applications,
- Experience working in technical field related to assignment,
- Maintain materials, tools and supplies inventory,
- Ensure shop is in good working condition for instruction,
- Prior instructor experience is considered an asset.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Reference Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check.
