Work Type: Hybrid, 3 days onsite and 2 days from home
Job Description:Are you a seasoned Senior Software Developer with a passion for healthcare technology? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining critical systems within the healthcare industry.
About the Role:As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing system architectures for healthcare applications
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Writing high-quality, well-documented code according to industry standards
- Interacting with stakeholders to gather and deliver requirements
- Performing system integration, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Coordinating development activities and supporting production issues
- Participating in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Contributing to all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Supporting team members and promoting knowledge transfer
- Managing project deliverables and outcomes
- Collaborating with Cyber Security and OPS Information Technology Partners
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry, specifically with systems like Long-Term Care, EMRs, HISs, Clinical Assessment tools, and OHRS
- 10+ years of experience in I⁢ Solutions development
- Strong Salesforce development experience (Omni-Studio, Velocity, Lightning Web Components, Experience Cloud, Apex, Triggers, Visual Force)
- Ability to lead teams through end-to-end software development life cycle
- Demonstrated experience in providing guidance and technical expertise
- Knowledge of code management and change management tools (GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Hands-on experience in application development, including architecture, security, coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and cloud administration
- Experience with NODE.JS and Frameworks, RESTFUL web services
- Advanced knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) compliance standards
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce experience in the cloud
- Experience with code version control systems, DevOps practices, and cloud delivery/deployment models
- Knowledge of common authentication technologies (SAML, OIDC) and browser-based security controls
- Ability to develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce
- Experience with application development, testing, debugging, and coding best practices
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with business partners and provide demos and training
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
