About the Company
Our client is a leading Canadian lender specializing real estate mortgages. They are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst who will be responsible for the timely, and accurate tax reporting.

About the Opportunity
- Prepare year end tax working papers.
- Ownership of the annual funds reporting and preparation & filing of T3 slips.






- Stay current of all changes in tax legislation that could impact relevant company funds.
- For the Canadian Fund, complete Canadian conversion files for CDN tax and audit purposes, managing of Canadian conversion.
- Liaise with external tax preparers, send them the required information for preparation of all
- Canadian and US federal tax returns for the portfolio (T5013’s, T3s, K1s, etc.).
- Work closely with the manager to ensure all tax reporting deadlines are met.
- Liaise with IR to send out proper tax return slips with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Assist IR in responding to any tax related queries.
- Assist with HST return filings as appropriate.
- Review of financial statements to ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements.

About You
- At least five years of progressive tax accounting experience.
- CPA designation or working towards an accounting designation is preferred.
- Experience in Canadian / US tax reporting and preparation of T5013, T3 slips, and K-1

Salary Range






$95,000 - $110,000/year
