What to Expect:

The Manager, Product Ownership – Analytics Solutions based at our North York office reporting into the Director Product Ownership - Data & Analytics, will lead the product ownership function within the Data and Digital Solutions team. This role focuses on managing the product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value solutions, and ensuring that product development aligns with business objectives. The manager will act as the key liaison between stakeholders, product owners, and development teams, ensuring a strong product vision and seamless execution. They will also drive change management efforts to support the successful adoption of new products and processes across the organization.

A day in the life:

1. Facilitating cross-functional team collaboration ensuring smooth communication between development, design, functional teams.
2. Meeting with key stakeholders (business,





Functional relationship managers, internal and external teams) to gather feedback and adjust product direction, intake process and discoveries.
3. Collaborating with product owners to define and prioritize product features and roadmaps.
4. Manage, coach and empower product owners, leading daily stand-ups & Sprint Planning to track progress and unblock issues, backlog refinement sessions with stakeholders.
5. Leading and overseeing change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new products and features across the organization of CPG Industry.
6. Reviewing product performance metrics and analysing user feedback to inform feature enhancements and future product improvements and governance.
7.





Monitoring product KPIs and driving improvements in product delivery, customer satisfaction, and change management success.
8. Engaging in market research and competitive analysis to ensure the product remains ahead of industry trends.
9. Align with Regional and Global teams to implement global initiatives and best practices within the market, while ensuring compliance and security of solutions.

1. Consistent delivery of high-quality digital and data products that meet customer needs and business objectives.
2. Successful implementation of change management activities that result in high adoption rates of new products and processes.
3. Improved product ownership processes, resulting in enhanced team collaboration and faster time to market.
4.





Product roadmaps that are clearly aligned with business priorities and adjusted based on real-time data and stakeholder feedback.
5. High levels of customer satisfaction with delivered products, reflected in product usage metrics, positive feedback, and smooth transitions.
6. Development of a high-performing product ownership team, marked by clear communication, ownership, and accountability.
7. Successful adoption of innovative technologies and best practices in the development lifecycle.

Role Requirements

1. Technical Skills: Understanding of digital platforms (PaaS, IaaS), data solutions, and agile methodologies, DevOps technologies with the ability to work closely with development teams.
2. Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science,





Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
3. Have at least 7 years of development experience in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, QlikView, Tableau, and BW. Familiarity with SAP, cloud architecture (Azure), and Power platforms and their components (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents).
4. Advanced understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data modelling.

Preferred Skills

1. Leadership & Vision: Ability to lead product owners with a clear vision for the product lifecycle and outcomes, while managing organizational change.
2. Change Management: Proven experience in driving change management initiatives,





with the ability to lead stakeholder engagement and training for new product rollouts.
3. Strategic Thinking: Strong understanding of product management principles, with the ability to align product initiatives with long-term business strategies, data privacy, regulations & policies.
4. Communication: Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations, lead cross-functional teams, and convey product vision and change management plans.
5. Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying bottlenecks, analysing feedback, and continuously improving processes, products, and adoption efforts.
6. Collaboration: A team player who can foster collaboration between different departments, ensuring unified efforts toward product goals.
7. Customer Focus:





Deep understanding of user needs and the ability to deliver products that delight users and solve real-world problems.
8. Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, remain flexible in the face of shifting priorities, and manage change effectively.

This role is critical to the success of the Data and Digital Solutions team, as the Manager of Product Ownership Solutions will drive both product delivery and the organizational change needed for the successful adoption of new products and processes.
