Our Calgary Oil and Gas client is looking for a Senior Azure Infrastructure Architect with Terraform Cloud and GitHub experience to implement scalable Azure landing zones for a large North American cloud migration program. North American client with a corporate office in downtown Calgary. Hybrid working environment. Ideally looking for a local candidate to Calgary but open to candidates across Canada willing to work MST hours.
Must Haves:
1. 10+ years experience as an Azure Infrastructure Architect with Terraform Cloud experience
2. Azure Landing Zone implementation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows experience
3. GitHub experience
4. Azure RBAC & Policies experience
5. Security scanning tools (Terraform Sentinel, Checkov, Aqua)
experience
6. Azure-native services (VNETs, NSGs, Firewalls) experience
7. CheckPoint Firewalls & Policies experience
8. Azure DevOps experience
Nice to Have:
1. AWS-native services (Terraform code for AWS) experience
2. ServiceNow workflow integration experience
3. Hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud environment experience
Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement scalable Azure landing zones using Terraform Cloud.
2. Manage Azure infrastructure components, including resource groups, RBAC, and Azure Policies.
3. Embed security and compliance into Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows.
4. Automate workflows and manage multi-cloud environments using GitHub and Terraform.
5. Deploy and manage CheckPoint Firewalls and firewall policies via IaC.
6. Conduct security scans on IaC using tools like Terraform Sentinel, Checkov, and Aqua.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with cloud strategies.
