Your challenges:
The Millwright will have the following responsibilities:
- Fabrication by drilling, brazing, operating many power tools as required to build new equipment
- Working with different systems including:
pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment
- Use the usual assembly and mechanical adjustment tools
- Carry out the assembly or restoration of various refrigeration systems
- Reading blueprints, diagrams and schematic diagrams
Your qualifications:
- Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) preferred; minimum 3rd year Apprentice
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving
- 3 years + experience in mechanical assembly and/or repair
- Demonstrated ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
- Able to problem solve and use critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Master reading mechanical and electrical drawings as well as assembly and adjustment procedures
- Autonomous and resourceful
