Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator serves as the primary communication hub for the operations team and truck drivers, with a focus on efficiency.
This role involves supporting floor operations to ensure seamless business processes.
Job Duties
- Organize daily truck deliveries and routing.
- Coordinate and monitor trucking movements for inbound returns and outbound deliveries.
- Track and trace shipment statuses, relaying updates to customers.
- Prepare all necessary shipping documents for carriers.
- Ensure accurate logging of all inbound and outbound shipments, with paperwork completed and submitted as required.
- Prepare invoices for completed customer orders.
- Audit invoices and allocate transportation expenses to general ledger accounts.
- Monitor shipment costs, timelines, and productivity.
- Resolve any issues that arise during transportation.
- Enter and record all shipment data accurately and promptly.
- Communicate with facilities and clients to meet business requirements.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and carriers, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Conduct reporting on all transportation activities,
including outbound/inbound metrics, efficiency, and service levels.
Job Requirements
- College or university degree in a business-related field, or a combination of education and experience.
- 1+ years of experience in administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication skills within a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Bilingualism in English and Korean is an asset.
