Job Summary

Analyzes and develops functional business requirements and modules testing for assigned projects. Applies complete knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments.

What is the Opportunity:

As a Business Systems Analyst within HR & Compensation Technology you’ll be part of a cross-functional team. In your role you will provide business analysis on assigned projects to ensure program/project strategic goals or objectives are accomplished. Business analysis will be performed on medium to large sized development or maintenance projects.

What will you do:

- Understand the Client’s business and factors client opportunities and risks into requirements,





conducts information gathering sessions, and prepares detailed business requirements: identifying, tracking and resolving business systems issues.
- Assess, research, analyze and document sponsor/stakeholder needs in accordance with Project Life Cycle and Capability Maturity Model deliverables, selecting appropriate information gathering and/or modeling techniques to solve problems. Guide QA through testing objectives and assist with the analysis of testing results.
- Contribute to successful project completion by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies. Recommend business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs while continually exploring and assessing options for value-add to clients.
- Function as a liaison between the business and the project team. Walk stakeholders through requirements and manage expectations regarding scope.
- Contribute to test case creation; ensuring that test cases are tightly integrated with requirements specifications.
- Provide direction,





expertise, feedback, coaching and development to build the capability of more junior staff and with a strong drive to learn.
- Participate in planning with other Business Analysts, the Project Manager and client in the early stages of project formation.
- Participate and work collaboratively within cross-functional project teams comprised of HRCT Teams, Business Partners, T&O; IT Teams and Vendors.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

- Proven experience (3 to 7 years) working in small to Medium size projects in Agile or iterative waterfall project teams as a business Analyst with a university degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.






- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Strong analytical, trend analysis, problem identification and resolution skills.
- Great attention to detail, organizational skills and an analytical mind.

Nice to Have:

- SAP and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Experience an asset
- Workday Understanding
- Agile Certification (CSM, CPO)
- Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA)
- Masters Certificate in Business Analysis
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (IIBA-CBAP or CCBA)
