The opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations, the Analyst, Wealth Products, will oversee and enhance the performance of Wellington-Altus platforms. This role combines an analytical, and strategic focus, positioning the incumbent as a key driver in advancing operational excellence and strategic initiatives within the Wealth Products team. The Analyst, Wealth Products will direct the Wealth Products Coordinator, ensuring adherence to operational standards, and driving the seamless execution of platform-related processes. This incumbent will administer and execute the operational aspects of various platforms, including Advice Based, Advice+ Managed, Platinum Private Portfolios (Internal and External), and Crescent Separately Managed Accounts (SMA). The Analyst, Wealth Products will manage complex issues, ensuring smooth transitions and integrations, and acting as the main liaison between investment advisors, third-party vendors, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include:







- Managing comprehensive operational processes for platforms such as Advice Based, Advice+ Managed, Platinum Private Portfolios (Internal and External), and Crescent Separately Managed Accounts (SMA).
- Ensuring all account transitions and trades are executed accurately and efficiently, resolving any issues that arise promptly to maintain seamless operations.
- Updating and refining operational guides to reflect changes in procedures and best practices, ensuring that all documentation is current and accurate, and communicating effectively to relevant stakeholders.
- Providing exemplary service to investment advisors by addressing their needs with exceptional attention to detail,





ensuring that all inquiries and requests are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Demonstrating robust operational acumen and system knowledge, including expertise in systems such as Croesus, Thomson ONE, and Excel.
- Overseeing both execution and auditing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational standards.
- Delivering comprehensive trade support for the CTG platform.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide timely solutions and maintain high standards of trading operations.
- Generating comprehensive reports and ensuring data integrity across platforms, utilizing insights to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitoring and assessing performance metrics to identify areas for process improvement,





ensuring that operations align with organizational objectives and standards.
- Overseeing and enhancing platform functionality by monitoring account setups, configurations, and quality controls to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
- Developing and maintaining detailed operational guides and training materials tailored to discretionary trading and platform support, ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed.
- Providing high-level analytical support by generating comprehensive data reports, performing extracts, and delivering auditing services to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies to ensure the highest standards of data accuracy and confidentiality.






- Managing quality assurance processes by conducting regular audits and implementing necessary corrective actions to address any discrepancies.
- Managing closing fees, billing, and fee setups in close collaboration with the Fees department, ensuring that all financial transactions and processes comply with established standards.
- Cultivating and sustaining relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, custodians, and vendors to ensure seamless platform operations and promote a collaborative work environment.
- Adapting communication styles to effectively engage with various stakeholders, ensuring clarity and precision in interactions.
- Delivering exceptional service and support to investment advisors and internal teams,





addressing their needs promptly and contributing to the achievement of overall business objectives.
- Managing and coordinating platform-related projects, including system updates, account transitions, and RR/ASC code management.
- Ensuring thorough troubleshooting and process enhancements with comprehensive documentation and detailed progress tracking.
- Taking initiatives to boost operational efficiency and drive digitalization by evaluating and implementing in-house technology solutions.
- Focusing on enhancing platform performance through strategic improvements and technology integration.
- Taking charge of PPP repatriation projects, ensuring seamless asset transitions and adherence to compliance standards.
- Collaborating closely with vendors, the Transformation Office, NBF,





the Documentation Team, Advent Support, and Envestnet teams to streamline and optimize the repatriation process.
- Developing and delivering performance reports by preparing and presenting detailed performance reports to senior management, emphasizing key achievements, challenges encountered, and areas requiring improvement.
- Providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to automate manual processes, focusing on solutions that meet evolving business needs.
- Ensuring that automation strategies improve scalability, operational efficiency, and align with overall business objectives.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess:







- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field of study.
- 2+ years' of experience in a wealth management firm, with exposure to working with custodians such as National Bank, Fidelity or Aviso.
- 2+ years’ of experience in a customer/client-service facing role or similar back-office experience working with internal teams, vendors and custodians.
- Successful completion of CSI or IFIC Certification is an asset.
- Proficiency with the MSOffice suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. High-level Excel acumen is required.
- Hands-on experience with panels within Thompson One/OSS, and exposure to wealth management systems such as Croesus, Netrep, Advent, Envestnet and Purefees
- Proficient in overseeing platform functionalities, managing system updates, account transitions, and troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to enhance platform performance through strategic improvements and efficient process management.
- Expert in coordinating and managing projects related to platform operations, including detailed documentation, progress tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Strong understanding of evaluating and implementing technology solutions to drive operational efficiency and digitalization.
- Capable of identifying and automating manual processes to improve scalability and overall performance.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and internal policies to ensure compliance and maintain data accuracy.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, custodians, and vendors.
- Ability to provide trade support for CTG platforms, handling trade escalations, and resolving discrepancies.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth trading operations.
- Demonstrate a high level of accountability, reliability, adaptability, and innovation in accomplishing day to day work and long-term goals.
- A high tolerance for ambiguity; highly adaptive and able to manage a large volume of competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Exemplary interpersonal and influencing skills; an ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively, across multiple mediums (in-person, over the phone, and virtually).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
