You will report directly to the VP of Operations. In this position, you will be tasked with creating, implementing, and managing health and safety policies and programs to maintain a safe work environment for all employees and subcontractors. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide training and support to employees on health and safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to promote a culture of safety on all job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of safety performance and prepare reports for management.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry trends related to health and safety.
- Consistently assess and revise the company's Health & Safety Program to ensure compliance with the latest OHSA regulations and to uphold certifications such as COR/ISO.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in health and safety management in the construction industry within a General Contractor focusing in the ICI sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proven Leadership skills with the ability to influence others to follow safety practices, procedures, and regulations.
- Ideal candidates should have in-depth knowledge of the Ministry of Labour (MOL) and experience with complex high-rise equipment protocols.
- Ability to travel to various site locations from Oakville to Scarborough.
