About the Hotel
Embassy Suites by Hilton Toronto Airport is a 255-room full-service hotel, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Located near to the Toronto Pearson airport, it features a restaurant and bar with over 1000 square feet of banquet space.
**Compensation: $18.90-$21.11 an hour

Embassy Suites by Hilton Toronto Airport is looking for someone with housekeeping experience in the Hospitality industry, friendly & focused to join our team as Room Attendant! Please note that this role is at weekends only, and it is a Part-time position only.
What will you be doing?
• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, etc. This may include cleaning of the kitchen area, room refrigerator, coffee maker, cups, glasses, silverware, etc.
• Notify the supervisor when service is complete so rooms may be sold or occupied. Report any room unable to be serviced to the supervisor according to established procedures.
• Report to the supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Respond to guest complaints, and special requests to ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and control supplies/amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
• Maintains linen cart and supplies neat and organized to department standards.
• Maintains security of equipment, keys and supplies issued each day.
• Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
• May have turndown duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned. In carrying out your duties you will follow all Company and Brand Standards.
What are the requirements for this role?
Required for weekends, and/or holidays only.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Some housekeeping experience.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
• Follow safe work procedures as outlined in Departmental Policy and Procedures manuals, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Know and comply with all Occupational Health & Safety regulations, as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Ministry of Labour.
• Report all injuries or illnesses to a supervisor or manager immediately.
• Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee by bringing health and safety concerns or issues to the attention of the committee.
