Job Title: Intermediate Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
Location: Hybrid - DT Toronto, (2 Days a week in office)
Duration: 6 months with potential conversion to FT
About the Role
We are looking for an Intermediate Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our team, working on a cutting-edge collections platform for a leading bank. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, experience in financial services, and expertise in systems analysis to ensure the success of the collections process.
Must haves:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of collections platforms and processes within a financial institution
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies, such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and MS Office Suite
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for the collection platform
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product owners, developers, and end users, to align technical solutions with business needs
- Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into system functionality
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows, user stories, and use cases
- Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and recommend improvements for the collections process
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans, ensuring the system meets business requirements
- Support the implementation of enhancements and system changes,
including end-user training
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to the collections platform
