The BurnabySchool District is accepting applications for the position of:CASUAL FOOD SERVICE WORKER The (Casual) Food Service Worker serves andassembles meals for students in accordance with a pre-established menu by performingduties such as portioning prepared food; preparing simple desserts andsandwiches; washing and cutting fruits and vegetables; and setting outbeverages. This position also organizesfood service area by performing duties such as starting hot tables, laying outeating utensils and setting up bussing stations.This position requires the completion of Grade 12plus one year of experience in a high-volume food preparation and servingsetting.A valid Food Safe Certificate is required for thisposition.This position pays $31.60/hour.This position is casual,on-call and works in schools varied hours between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. You must be available to work during thesehours on a consistent, ongoing basis to apply for this position.
