The Engineering Technician will work in the Engineering Packaging team on analysis, repairs, and projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, automated with latest robotics equipment.
You will have to demonstrate a passion for learning and continuously developing their skills.

Primary Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using your skills in mechanical repair, welding, fabrication, and troubleshooting, with a focus on minimizing downtime and recommend solutions.
Work on exciting automation and robotics projects, assisting in the installation, maintenance, and optimization of state-of-the-art machinery in our packaging lines.
Document Assembly and Design reviews of installations on applicable manufacturing test Equipment.
Read schematics/assembly drawings, layouts, data, and process sheets to perform testing, build fixtures, analyze, and trouble-shoot equipment.
Flexibility regarding working times, including shift, on call, and weekend work.
Support Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing.
Contributes/fosters Health & Safety/GMP's.
Travel between different production facilities to assist critical repairs and project support.
Required Experience / Required Ingredients: 2+ years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical maintenance/installation (it is not necessary to be licensed).
Post-Secondary education in Engineering or Engineering Technology or related field is an asset.
Ability to read mechanical schematics and prints.
Experience with maintenance systems and computer programs (MS Office, Excel, Outlook).
Flexible to work extended or after hours (when required) Basic understanding of PLC's/logic controls and panel view navigation (HMI)Valid driver's license and access to vehicle is required.
Passionate about developing hands-on technical skills and ability to work well in a team – oriented environment.
