Our Woodbridge based client, an industry leader in miscellaneous metals, custom railing fabrication and other intricate architectural metalwork, is searching for an Operations Manager to oversee their miscellaneous metals division. This role will manage multiple projects primarily in the high-rise condo sector.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage multiple large projects $1,000,000+
- Track and respond to detailed changes within the scope of work
- Maintain financial records for monthly billing with a focus on Profit & Loss
- Analyze blueprints and process specifications to generate quotes, use of AutoCAD
- Project estimation and client liaison
- Verify final estimation numbers prior to submission of quotations
- Oversee fabrication, drafting, installation and purchasing departments
- Shop supervision and quality control oversight
- Schedule drafting, site measuring, installation crews & manufacturing to meet deadlines.
- Meet and set safety standards and employee best practices.
- Manage relationships with employees, site superintendents, project managers, suppliers & customers.
- Direct involvement with developing accurate quotation & scheduling system through Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles.
- Familiar with E2 ERP system and CRM software.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and social media platforms.
