School District is accepting applications for the position of:
CASUAL FOOD SERVICE WORKER
The (Casual) Food Service Worker serves and
assembles meals for students in accordance with a pre-established menu by performing
duties such as portioning prepared food; preparing simple desserts and
sandwiches; washing and cutting fruits and vegetables; and setting out
beverages. This position also organizes
food service area by performing duties such as starting hot tables, laying out
eating utensils and setting up bussing stations.
This position requires the completion of Grade 12
plus one year of experience in a high-volume food preparation and serving
setting.
A valid Food Safe Certificate is required for this
position.
This position pays $31.60/hour.
This position is casual,
on-call and works in schools varied hours between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. You must be available to work during these
hours on a consistent, ongoing basis to apply for this position.
