Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards, the Senior Analyst, Total Rewards will play a key role in developing, implementing and maintain our compensation programs across Canada.
Specific Responsibilities
- Partner with HR Peers: Provide recommendations and advice on compensation topics and related programs to support our HR Business Partner community.
- Deliver Excellence: Ensure effective program delivery through HR Business Partners and occasionally provide direct support to employees and managers.
- Innovate and Improve:
Participates in the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of compensation programs, activities, and tools.
- Drive Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research, analysis, costing, and provide initial recommendations on compensation activities and initiatives.
- Benchmarking and Compliance: Perform annual benchmarking analysis and ensure compliance with Pay Equity legislation and related exercises.
- Support Annual Review: Actively participate in the annual compensation review process, , management training, and validation of proposed increases.
- Create New Job Families: Assist in creating new job families by conducting interviews, gathering market data, and developing appropriate salary recommendations.
- Stay Informed:
Keep abreast of internal and external trends/issues affecting McKesson’s market position, employee satisfaction, and People Strategies in Canada.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or Human Resources.
- 3-5years of experience in compensation or relevant fields.
Key Competencies
- Experience in unionized environments is an asset.
- Proficiency in survey methodology and point-factor job evaluation systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fully bilingual (English and French) with excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
- Solid business acumen and customer focus.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing business conditions and priorities.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Workday, or any other HRIS.
