Job Description:

What will you work on?

The Sr. Network Engineer is responsible for implementing and supporting the infrastructure that supports in-house data, video, and wireless network services.





Primary duties include implementing defined standards, ensuring the stability and integrity of network and related services, optimizing performance, and enhancing security. They work closely with the network architects to create detailed design specifications, deploy new systems, and troubleshoot network issues. Additionally, Network Engineers monitor network performance, conduct regular maintenance, and implement upgrades as necessary to ensure seamless connectivity. They also play a critical role in disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring that the network infrastructure can withstand and recover from various disruptions. This role requires a strong understanding of networking hardware and software along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Exposure to network design principles and practices, experience with cloud connectivity, security implementations and documentation skills are highly desirable.

How will you create impact?







- Network Design and Implementation: Develop and implement advanced network solutions to meet organizational needs, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Oversee the monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of network performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Security Management: Implement and enforce network security protocols, safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Technical Support: Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex network issues, supporting other IT team members and departments as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and security measures.
- Collaboration:





Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address network requirements and challenges.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest network technologies and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements where applicable.

What are your skills and experience?

- Proficiency in network technologies and protocols including Ethernet, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, Cloud, SDWAN and Internet technologies
- Experience in budget planning and financial management.
- Success in leveraging both traditional practices, such as IT service management, as well as emerging methods, such as DevOps, that are optimized for agility.
- Advanced certifications (CCNP, CCIE) are a plus.
