We also machine a wide range of products using femtosecond lasers.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician - Evening Shift

Manufacture fused optical structures.
Record manufacturing data in the database.
Participate in the development and improvement of new products and processes.
Document parameters related to the manufacture of optical structures.
Carry out small and medium-scale improvement projects (process, equipment).
Qualifications or Skills
Required:
Experience in the manufacturing sector
Ability to concentrate and pay attention to detail.
Autonomy and initiative.
Attention to detail,
manual and visual dexterity, mechanical ability.
Time management, sense of priorities, efficiency and quality of work.
Desirable:
Education: College diploma in photonics, physical technology or equivalent, or relevant experience.
Knowledge of optical equipment and handling of optical fibers.
Ability to use microscope, optical spectrum analyzer (OSA), fuser and laser source.
Ability to work with basic chemicals (isopropanol, acetone).
Ability to use a database.
Knowledge of manufacturing software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
