ABOUT THE POSITION
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of commercial lines brokers.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s commercial insurance portfolio and increase market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, partnerships, and market analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Level 2 or 3 Manitoba insurance license
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Commercial Insurance
- You have mentored or coached junior staffs and provided training
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data, make informed decisions, and drive strategic initiatives.
- CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation is an asset
COMPENSATION
- Base salary between $85,000 – $95,000 depending on years of relevant experience + annual target bonus + new business commission
