Job Description: Senior VPBusiness Development (ExternalWholesaler)
We have an opportunity foran ambitious business development leader to drive results for afamily of funds specializing in alternative investments. Yourprimary responsibility would be selling into the alreadyestablished National Accounts of the firm with the focus on WesternCanada (Alberta & BC). We offer a competitive base salaryalong with an attractive commission/bonusplan.
Base Salary Range: $140000 $250000uncapped commission
Role:Conduct sales meetings with IIROC advisors while explaining theadvantages of partnering with the firm & the benefits ofalternative investments. To achieve this youwill:
Leverage your established advisor relationships while continuing tonetwork for new relationships.
Assistin developing and implementing strategies designed to providesupport to advisors.
Assist withmarketing strategies for the firm to growAUM
Ideal Candidate Profile:
10 years of External Wholesaleexperience with a strong track record of success in sales &a; large established network of Advisors to sellinto
Experience in sellingalternative investments
Universitydegree or equivalent industry education (industry designations arean added bonus)
Strong communicationskills (both written &verbal;)
Ability to work wellindependently & also in ateam
High energy selfstarter&selfmotivated;
