Enersul is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Calgary. This role will have responsibility for a variety of Human Resources tasks;
with the opportunity to contribute to many activities and projects.
Overall Responsibilities :
- Provides direction, insight, and assistance to managers and employees on HR related matters.
- Manages the recruitment and onboarding processes, including job posting,
screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating new employee orientation.
- Partners with colleagues on Benefit Plan management and administration.
- Work with managers on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide backup for payroll processing.
- Works closely with HR Director on coordination of internal processes and programs related to Talent Management and Employee Development.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Assist with HR reporting and analytics to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with the management team on strategic HR initiatives and projects.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years)
as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Knowledge of payroll practices (ADP) would be of benefit.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Workday) and MS Office Suite.
