Job Description

Position Title: Salesforce Solution Architect

Company Overview:

Location:







This is a remote role with the flexibility to work from home. However, candidates should be able to attend in-person meetings within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as needed. Attendance at relevant industry events or client meetings may also be required.

Position Overview:

The Salesforce Solution Architect will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce solutions that align with client business goals. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ) to architect scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing enterprise systems. The Solution Architect will collaborate closely with Agile project managers, technical teams,





and client stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions that maximize the potential of the Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

1. Client Discovery and Engagement:
Work with clients to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into comprehensive Salesforce solutions. Facilitate discovery workshops to capture functional and technical specifications.
2. Solution Architecture and Design:
Design scalable Salesforce solutions that leverage best practices in security, architecture, and platform capabilities. Define data models, process flows, and integration strategies, ensuring alignment with both client objectives and system limitations.
3. Salesforce Configuration and Customization:
Configure Salesforce to meet specific client needs, creating custom objects, workflows, reports, and dashboards.





Collaborate with developers on customizations, including Apex triggers, Lightning components, and Visualforce pages.
4. Integration and Data Migration:
Plan and oversee Salesforce integrations with third-party platforms, ensuring data flow consistency and quality. Manage data migrations from legacy systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
5. Training and Documentation:
Provide end-user training to ensure proper adoption of Salesforce solutions. Prepare thorough documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and solution architecture documents.
6. Salesforce Best Practices and Governance:
Serve as a subject matter expert, guiding clients on platform governance, Salesforce best practices, and optimization strategies.





Recommend platform enhancements and system updates to drive continuous improvement.
7. Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate with Agile project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution. Act as the main liaison between the client and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Solution Testing and Quality Assurance:
Support testing efforts to validate Salesforce configurations and customizations. Address issues during the testing phase and provide post-implementation support to ensure a smooth handoff.
9. Assist in pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations. Contribute to business development by identifying client needs and suggesting tailored Salesforce solutions.

Requirements







Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, consulting, or administration roles.
3. Strong understanding of Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CPQ) and their capabilities.
4. Experience with data migration and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica), and API management.
5. Expertise in Salesforce security, architecture, and platform limitations.
6. Proficiency in declarative Salesforce configuration (Flows, Process Builder); familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning development is a plus.
7. Demonstrated ability to design scalable solutions, keeping performance, security, and best practices at the forefront.
8.





Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms for clients.
9. Problem-solving mindset, able to troubleshoot technical issues and propose innovative solutions.
10. Ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
