The Opportunity

Our client, a long-time supplier of services to the construction industry, is searching for a Territory Sales Representative to accelerate growth of their waste services division. The Territory Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in expanding their customer base and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients primarily in Edmonton area. This is a salary + commissions role with a company vehicle.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

- Identify and engage new clients through prospecting, networking, and sales calls.






- Effectively present and promote our full range of services to existing and potential customers.
- Upsell key accounts to increase revenue and market share.
- Collaborate with the business unit to manage held invoices and assist in resolving service and operational issues in partnership with the maintenance department and other team members.
- Generate and deliver comprehensive reports on all lines of business.
- Handle customer service, territory development, and retention of accounts.
- Develop a comprehensive list of competitor accounts through prospecting, scouting, and cold-calling, with a focus on expanding the defined territory.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in managing accounts receivables within the territory.
- closely with sales, operations, and administrative teams, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
- Submit daily call reports and complete other duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications







- Minimum of three years of experience selling to the construction industry.
- Post secondary degree or trade certification is an asset.
- Strong command of English (both verbal and written).
- Prior experience in a supervisory and sales role is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with Access preferred.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience in the Industrial, Concrete, Environmental, and/or Waste Management industries is an asset.
- Strong ability to write customer letters, reports, and proposals.
- Willingness to travel as required.
