Kelly, a leader in providing workforce solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our clients team as a Facilities Assistant/Event Planner. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting facilities management and coordinating events within our organization.
Please note: this is a temp-to-permanent position. The contract is set for 3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily facilities operations, including maintenance requests, space management, and coordinating with vendors and service providers.
- Support event planning and execution, including scheduling, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site coordination.






- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event requirements and ensure successful event delivery.
- Assist in preparing event budgets, tracking expenses, and managing invoicing and payments.
- Coordinate event setup, including arranging seating, signage, audiovisual equipment, and other necessary materials.
- Provide support during events, including attendee registration, managing event communications, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Assist in post-event evaluation and reporting, including gathering feedback and analyzing event success.
- Maintain event and facilities records, including contracts, permits, and maintenance schedules.
- Support general administrative tasks, such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence related to facilities and events.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in event planning or facilities management is a plus.
- Proven experience in event planning and facilities coordination.






- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in office software applications and event management software.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for event support.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to event planning and facilities management is preferred.

This is a full-time position that requires strong organizational skills,





attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. The Facilities Assistant/Event Planner will contribute to the successful operation of our facilities and the seamless execution of events, ensuring a positive experience for attendees and stakeholders.
