Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the CFO, the VP, Finance will lead a team of local, remote and off-shore direct reports responsible for Corporate Financial Reporting, Treasury and Taxation, Share-based Compensation,





Corporate Financial Controls and Risk Mitigation. As an acquisitive organization, we are seeking a finance leader with experience in public companies and a successful track record of managing M&A; activity. The VP, Finance is a critical leadership and business advisory role and key member of Healwell AI’s senior management team.

This role is well suited for someone who is an experienced finance leader, a self-starter, good listener and a team player. The ideal candidate will be have a high attention to detail, exceptional with numbers, technically savvy and comfortable with ongoing change in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

· Serve as a true business partner to the CFO and the rest of the executive team through financial

leadership across the organization.

· Build, mentor and lead a talented, finance team who focuses on driving growth and efficiency

· Understand Healwell AI’s strategy and drives top line profitability through strong financial

management practices and golden metrics.







· Provides strategic guidance and insight to leadership team of Healwell AI’s

organizational and financial health.

· Support M&A; activity

· Work with business units to optimize product, and pricing strategies.

· Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring financial strategies, policies &

procedures, financial systems, business analytics and reporting, accounting, internal planning

and control, treasury, and taxation strategy.

· Be a trusted advisor and support the leadership team in making the right decision for the

business through best-in-class financial management practices and accurate financial data.

· Build, implement, and monitor enabling financial planning processes and internal controls that

facilitate stronger financial acumen at all levels of leadership.







· Manage key external relationships with key investors, auditors, and professional consultants.

· Responsible for all GAAP (IFRS) reporting & corporate accounting policies.

· Establish and build out Treasury management and Hedging as the company expands internationally.

Professional Qualifications:

· The ideal candidate is a senior financial leader who brings of 7-10 years of financial leadership experience ideally gained in a similarly complex, fast paced, high growth software or technology company with an international footprint that has scaled to beyond US$100M in revenue.

· University degree preferably in finance or business with an accounting designation (CA, CPA) and/or an MBA with a strong working knowledge of IFRS GAAP.





Public company experience and/or experience taking a company public is highly desirable. M&A; experience would be a critical asset.

· Strong understanding of technical accounting pronouncements (IFRS).

· Informed of the emerging marketplace and have both a strong strategic and operational capability and the ability to keep the business focused on its future direction, providing sound strategic advice and recommendations on business issues. This individual will manage banking and financial advisor relationships, interface with Board Members, lenders and lessors; manage bank credit lines, loans, and capital leases.







· Disciplined and metrics-driven and bring demonstrated insight regarding the meaning of financial data as it relates to the operations of a business and a proven track record in building and implementing controls and reporting systems that provide outstanding financial and managerial reports for decision-making purposes around pricing models, etc.

They will have excellent communication skills and will be adept at explaining complex ideas and concepts in simple terms and ensuring open lines of communication throughout the organization.

· Capable of asking new questions and challenge the status quo in the best interests of the business and is skilled at persuading experienced managers to think about the business differently.
