What to expect:

The Community Relations Coordinator works to support the CWB Welding Foundation and their marketing, communications and program efforts,





including coordinating logistics of program related materials and merchandise across Canada and internationally, ensuring contacts, dates and data are up to date across the appropriate channels, drafting and distributing key messaging to the Foundation’s network and community, and supporting the Marketing and Communications team as needed.

This role reports to the Marketing and Communications Manager, where time is divided based on need and team priorities.

This includes:

Administrative Coordination

- Coordinate Contact List to ensure it is always up to date, including communicating with Foundation team members to ensure community members (partners, donors and beneficiaries) are being added, cleaning up spreadsheet and uploading contacts to Email Marketing system to appropriate lists






- Coordinate the linking of contacts into CRM system
- Monitor events calendar to ensure it is always up to date from Sponsored Events, Conferences, and Programs
- Update Photo & Video Library as new content is received from programs and events
- Monitor the general email inbox and distribute incoming requests to the appropriate team member
- Support Administrator and Grants Officer with coordination of documentation and stewardship of community members including donors and partners

Inventory Coordination

- Support CWB Foundation community network of partners, donors and beneficiaries through the coordination of inventory of promotional and related materials with Inventory Management Company
- Acquire quotes and coordinate purchasing of inventory for events and programs






- Order and coordinate promotional materials for events, conferences and tradeshows including booth structures, printed materials and swag in collaboration with Program Team.
- Coordinate the shipments of Programs-related materials for upcoming camps, workshops and special events both in Canada and internationally
- Coordinate the receipt and distribution of Gifts-In-Kind from donors in collaboration with the Fundraising team, including inventory management and communications to key Foundation audiences as required
- Monitor and manage inventory levels

Volunteer Coordination

- Coordinate with the Marketing and Programs teams to determine upcoming volunteering opportunities and prepare a monthly call for volunteers to CWB Group and stakeholders






- Communicate expectations and next steps with volunteers for programs and events and steward volunteers within CWB Foundation’s community network
- Lead the background checks for all volunteers and track status of checks for recurring volunteers

Website Support

- Coordinate events calendar to display accurate information, updating as needed with new and revised upcoming programs and events
- Update website content as needed including closing applications, setting up application forms, adjusting copy on webpages
- Draft communications for digital channels as needed and support with the engagement of CWB Foundation community members
- Preparing a monthly digital performance report for the Marketing and Communications Manager

Other Duties as assigned







In this position, you will work out of their home office, travel will be required from time to time. CWB has adopted a remote-first working model, where employees will work from their home office, servicing the client within their specified areas either remotely or in person. We are embracing radical flexibility, where employees are encouraged to work a schedule that works best for them, their team, and their clients.

What you bring to the table:

- Post-secondary diploma in Business or related administrative program
- 1-3 years professional experience in a related role
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and support a remote-based team
- Microsoft Office,





inclusive of high competency in data management software
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Attention to detail and high accuracy of work

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- This is a remote, work from home position
- This position might require some travel

The following qualifications are considered assets:

- Experience with Wordpress (Divi)
- Experience working in a remote environment
- Experience coordinating logistics, purchasing and inventory management
